Warm,
April 21, 2008
By Fish3010from Wisconsin
"I installed this heater in my uninsulated 2.5 car garage and even on the coldest day I was able to reach 60 degrees in a short amount of time. Install took 3 hours including the LP line. I used the heater 2-3 times per week and used only 3, 100# LP tanks. Great product, reasonable price."

Shirt sleeve warm,
April 14, 2008
By Biker48from Maple Valley, Washington
"I like to spend a lot of time in my wood shop but this winter was just too cold for me! My shop is 24'x36' with and 8' ceiling. The walls are insulated R-9 and the ceiling is R-30. The heater keeps the shop toasty warm now. I keep the thermostat set at 63'F. Now I can work in the shop in shirt sleeves all day. It took a couple days for all of the equipment in the shop to come up to temperature so that the heater could slow down but now I only hear it come on a couple times each day. Installation of the heater was very basic and I was able to install with only one person helping by providing muscle while I bolted the unit in place. I might just start keeping the Harley in the shop instead of the garage, the garage isn't heated."

Bad choice,
January 28, 2008
By dthomasfrom Chicago, IL
"Do not waste your time with the MHU45, bad choice. I ordered and upon delivery it was installed. Blower motor was bad, had to order one and replace it. Circuit board failed w/in 1 1/2 months and currently have one on order which I will have to replace. Granted it's not rocket science to replace these parts, it's just the fact that once your heater goes out, it's your responsibility to repair your own heater unit. Enerco will not send out a technician to repair your heater unit. The heater additionally tends to vibrate so if you are installing in your garage underneath a room, BEWARE you will feel the vibration thru the floor."

Mr. Heater Propane Garage Heater on a boat.,
January 18, 2008
By craterchainsfrom On a boat, on Puget Sound, Washington State
"This 45,000 BTU Garage Heater is our primary heat source aboard our boat / home (houseboat). We searched for some time to find just the right heater that would work for our boat that has just over a thousand square feet of floor space. The heater has been working perfectly for over three months and keeps our boat warm and comfortable while using less propane than other comparable heaters. Friends are amazed by it's quiet operation and overall efficiency and performance as a boat heater. It is made very well of heavy gauge sheet metal with easy access panels for servicing of the unit. Mounting is very easy with the two provided rails and if you mount it using heavy foam vibration dampers it is even quieter in operation. The only draw back was in discovering that there are no replacement panels available to replace the ones dented in shipment."

Makes the garage habitable in the winter,
January 16, 2008
By mcgyverfrom nj
"I have a 2 car garage that gets bone chilling in the winter. This heater works quickly to warm it up, I use it just enough to take the chill off. Best part is that it vents to the outside so there are no fumes to breathe."
