More of the same... Broken bit,
November 19, 2008
By DCa954from Pompano Beach,FL
"I Purchased this item some time ago. Bit broke quickly for me also. It was my fault, I tried to push what I was doing. This week I have been looking for a new bit, It seems finding a new one is a little work. I'm glad the other reviewer mentioned something about the price AND the fact that the new one broke too. I think I just look for something else to use."

Air Nibbler,
April 21, 2008
By JeepJockeyfrom Colorado
"I like the way this tool is capable of cutting complex shapes. Have used it with great success on a number of projects. The only draw-back I have encountered is that it is very easy to break the flange off of the cutting head. I did this once when I rocked the nibbler too much while cutting (my fault). I replaced the head and broke the second one within two inches of the first cut. Was being very careful this time, so was disappointed to see it break so easily. The part is also quite expensive to replace (nearly a third of the cost of the unit itself with shipping). I also have the shears which work very well, just can't cut the sharp curves as easily."

Metal consideration,

By Pat28from Rhode Island
"I have used this tool many times with great success on steel plate and plastic but recently tried it on soft aluminum. It did work fairly nice for about a 2" cut and then snapped the tip from the guide. Thinking that the nibbler and guide were worn from previous use, I changed the set. Again, it snapped after only 1". Upon inspection, I noticed aluminum waste had "welded" the nibbler to the guide hole. I will continue to use this tool for other materials but not for soft aluminum without lubrication and/or cooling."

"Nice economical nibbler. Great for small jobs. Might not hold up in industrial applications with hard every day use. That is not what I needed though."

"this tool works great. i have used it on 18ga steel and it cuts with little or no effort. However it will jam occasionally but, most of the time this happens i am taking a sharp turn or going too fast."

Air Nibbler,

By Anonymous Reviewerfrom Concord, CA
"Works GREAT. With a guide I can cut a perfectly straight line with VERY little distortion. Does leave chad all over everywhere but small price to pay. I think using this the first time is the only time in my life I have touched a piece of sheet metal and not come away bloody."

Easy to use Nibbler,
April 10, 2007
By RonJfrom Bordentown, NJ
"This is a very easy to use tool. It is fast and as long as you have a guide or a steady hand it is great to use. Does make a small mess, but compaired to the undistorted cut you get ,this nibbler is so far one of the better ones I own."
