"I still have the original model of this saw and continue to use it on many jobs. With the right blades I have done a considerable amount of ceramic tile w/ this saw cutting straight lines and curves, as well as larger circles. I cut plywood, masonite, sheetrock and even Hardieboard with no effort. This is and has been an awesome tool in my 35 year career. Light weight and very multi-functional. Great tool to have."

"Bought this little saw to cut the counter around our new ceramic stove that was 1/2 " bigger than our old electric range . I was able to cut a 1/4 " all around with this saw , and was surprised at how clean and straight I was able to cut . I was also surprised at the power of this saw when I've had to cut bigger peices of wood or cross grain ."

Makita (Cordless) Circular Saw — 1.3 Amp, 3 3/8in.,

"Outstanding saw! This saw has been one of the mainstays of my shop for many tasks. I originally bought this saw for paneling and trim work while remodeling my house. With physical disabitlies affecting my upper body strength and range of motion I soon found myself using this saw to take on jobs I would have had more difficulty with using my older heavier B&D 7 1/4' saw for. With a full charge it will power through 1x and 2x stock as well as any paneling or trim work you can throw at it. The 2x4 I had to flip over to complete a through cut, but it really reduces the fatigue level. And on those long panel cross cuts it sure beats powering a regular heavier saw at arrm's extension! No matter what your level of expertise is, you would find this an indespensible saw for many of the lighter jobs you would normally have used your regular saw for with half the fatigue and effort over a normal day's work. Not meant to replace your heavier saw for the heavier construction tasks of framing, timbler work or heavy grades of plywood, this saw makes excellent work of all lighter tasks with smooth accurate cuts."
