"After a few years of use, this pays for itelf vs. renting a walk behind model. My lawn tractor pulls it just fine. I would reccomend getting some cement blocks to put on top as well."

Lawn Aerator,
August 18, 2008
By Jerald
from Gastonia, NC

"Heavy duty construction. Under the right conditions, it will penetrate 1- 1 1/2" with no problem and expel the plugs. Good coat of powercoat paint. Assembly was a bit cumbersome for one person, otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars all things considered."

"Nice heavy duty unit. Other than the wheels, which should not be used with weight in the tray, the unit performs very well."

"Once assembled, I found that the equipment did an excellent job. The assembly was not difficult, and the weight and quality of the unit significantly exceeded my expectations. The fit of all parts was excellent, the instructions were clear, and the hardware was of better than average quality. I expect years of service from this tool. Thank you."

Does the job I bought it for.,

"This is a pretty solidly build unit. The tines stand up to the hard clay soil we have in Central Va. The pneumatic tires are an improvement over many of the others out there. Weigh it down with a few cinderblocks a day or so after it rains and refrain from breaking any world land speed records, then it will do what it is designed to do. I don't think it would handle the abuse a lawn care service would give it, but for the 2 acres we do it is great!"

Homeowner Use,

"Heavyweight construction, durable, and adaptable to most lawn tractors. The 50 inch width is good for adding weights and making less passes. Hooks on tray would be helpful for straps. Great product for the price. Very competitive."

Lawn Aerator,
April 21, 2008
By Tommy1

"The lawn aerator works well when the soil moist. I had around 100lbs. on for added weight and one of the tires blew out in transport. Other than that, this aerator works well. I would recommend this to a friend."

Great product!,

"I love my pull behind areator! It was difficult to put together but once I figured it out. I use mine for my yard about 3 times a year. I have about 3/4 of an acre. It punches nice holes but you have to make sure you have PLENTY of weight on it for it to really work. Center blocks, Sand buckets, etc.... It is tough to pick up the tines to go over a driveway with all the weight. It's a great inexpensive tool that works!"

Good for average homeowner,
January 21, 2008
By Ryan1522

"I bought this last fall and was pretty happy. In researching other available I found for the price this happened to be on of the biggest, most tines, and best built. I have not tried it when the ground is dry, though you should really not do it then, but I was pretty happy with the results so far on moist ground. If you have a smaller yard I might recommend a less wide aerator as it can be cumbersome around trees, and landscape things."

Lawn aerator,
January 21, 2008
By sbcrich
from Orange, VA

"The Lawn aerator is a very good residential aerator. Strong points include easy to use and ease of transport over sidewalks or driveways as well as durability. The aerator is well made. Drawbacks are that the tray could be a little wider to accomodate larger weight items to help make deeper plugs on ground that is less than soft. Overall I give it a good rating and would recommend it as a residential aerator."
