Decent for light-duty work,
April 22, 2008

"Pros: Easy to assemble & setup, light enough to carry around (but also has wheels), provides a sturdy base for miter, chop, or small table saws. Cons: Material support extensions are weak (will flex a LOT at full extension) and, because the support "T"s are actually "L"s -- your stock can rotate as the extension flexes. It's manageable by just pressing harder to keep your workpiece flat, but it's annoying. Also, there's no height adjustment on the mounting rails, so some tools will sit below the lowest height setting on the material support extensions. Solution: extend your support arms and let them flex to level!"

Hope I Got the Exception,

"cons: All the multilingual instruction pages were scrambled so I had to unstaple all the pages, re-sort them, and staple them back together. Though the stand is painted orange as in the online pictures, the instruction diagrams are only black and white and are fairly dark so it's difficult to see which end of the stand they're talking about. During assembly, one step calls for screwing a t-handle bolt into the welded-to-the-stand nut. One of the welded nuts had weld flashing or something on the back thread so the bolt can't go all the way down to lock one of the extension arms. So, I had to tap the thread to fix it. Pros: Fortunately, assembly is fairly intuitive so it's easy enough to put everything together just using the picture on the box. Also, the stand does work well and is pretty sturdy."

Miter Saw Stand,

"This equipment fits my needs. It isn't strong enough to handle a very heavy mitre saw, but is flexable and strong enough to do around the house work. I like the ability to quickly sit up my mitre saw and take it down and move it to storage."

"Provides a good stable platform for my Miter Saw. A pleasure to have the work at a comfortable height, that is easily moved as needed."

"Purchased this item to go along with the 10" compound miter saw from Northern Tools. The stand itself is very firm and supports the saw well. The legs are steady and the added wheels help with transporting the saw across flat surfaces. However, the extensions did not stand up squarely or support the item to be cut, fully across their width."
