"OK for the money if your an occasional user like me. I would recommend a Makita or Dewalt if your going to use it continuosly or professionaly. It takes a little longer to cut and the laser is just a battery operated "flashlight" that has to be turned on and off seperately and will eat up batteries quickly if left on.
I only use it about once or twice a month so like I said it's fine for the money and fits my needs."

Inexpenstve Laser metal Chop Saw,
October 8, 2007
By DEWFPOfrom Rocky Mountains
"Great value for the price. Note : it doesn't come with a cutting wheel, kinda crazy. The labels won't stick and keep peeling off but it works great. I would prefer a horizontal "D" handle on this tool, but what the heck, you can't beat it for the price I paid. I checked the laser tracking when I installed the blade and it was dead on, no adjustments needed."

By Boilermanfrom Harvard, Idaho
"Plurchased this item recently and it has performed well. Handles 1/2" plate if you use patience and do not force it. I am in the process of building a do it yourself backhoe from purchased plans. It has fit right in as a necessary tool."

Good Value for Home Use,
February 26, 2007
By snuffyfrom Seattle Wa
"This baby cuts steel with no problem (2x2x.120 box in about 30 seconds). I've used skill saws for years and finally spotted this chop saw on sale. Using it to build a trailer, so far worth every penny. Possibly would not hold up to continuous cutting, but for the average home use, should will last for years."
