"Overall an excellent product. This baby can pull.
I spent over 0 adding a second battery, battery isolator, and heavy duty wiring and connectors to my pickup to allow it to be connected to the trailer hitch (see Item# 147015). So in retrospect I feel I should have purchased the most powerful model.
If you are using a dual battery setup, I suggest you keep the engine running with the lights on.
My only complaint is that the cable always seems to get get kinked/untwisted because it doesn't always follow the race and spool nicely - even when you try and persuade it to.
Another quibble is the short length of the remote, as a previous reviewer mentioned. How about a wireless remote? That would be the ultimate."

"we bought this wench when I had my 8000 lb tractor stuck ,I thought no way will this wench pull that tractor out, made me a lier, it hardly strained, and it got er done one tough wench. p.s. it was the only one we could buy that day I wanted a 9000 lb wench."
