Hobart Generator Welder,
April 22, 2008
By bwhittixfrom Chandler, AZ
"I purchased 1 of these units for maintenance purposes. We had a situation where we had no power close to where a large cardboard bailer was on the loading dock. We were able to use this to weld the broken unit and get it back in service. I was surprised at how well a small welder/generator like this performed. It welded 3/8" steel rather effortlessly. Plus it provided the necessary power outlet to operate the hand grinder from. While it probably is not suitable for a production environment, it accels in a maintenance environment. All this and lightweight too. Excellent machine."

welder and generator,
April 21, 2008
By Matthew2from Conowingo Maryland
"After a hurricane came up the Chesapeake Bay and knocked out power for a couple of days, my wife and I decided to buy a generator for backup electricity. Instead of purchasing a generator only, I decided to purchase a welder/gererator for better utility. I can use it for welding and as backup for when the power goes out, its powerful enough for just about all my welding needs and supplies enough power to keep the refrigerator, well pump and heater running. I would recommend this unit for both welding and backup power generator, I've owned it for 2 years no problems, the only drawback is fuel capacity, otherwise I would give it a five out of five stars."

Welder/Generator,
July 9, 2007
By Hargettfrom Irvine, KY
"I have been exceptionally pleased with the service from this piece of equipment since I received it. The welder starts easily, runs relatively quietly has plently of generator plugs in accessable positions. For its size and the money I paid for it I feel I get exceptional service. I had not upgraded welders in several years and am very pleased with the advances the products had made."
