Pneumatic Tire Failure - Don't Buy, August 11, 2008

"I have several of these 660 lb. platform trucks with the plastic wheels for my business, and they work great. The ones with the pneumatic tires, however, are worthless. They are rated at 660 lbs. capacity, but the tires collapse below 400 lbs. We're always pumping them up. When filled with product, we can't move the carts because one of the tires is always flat. Also, the tires are too tall, making the platform less stable for stacking products than the ones with the plastic tires. I intend to return them all. I see no advantage to the pneumatic tires, only inconvenience. Go with the solid, plastic wheels and you won't regret it."
