One great drill,

"Long battery life, great at home and on the job. I have had this drill for eight years now and have used it in the field (contractor) and at home(rebuilt entire house from inside out). Never had a better tool than a Milwaukee. 22 years in the trade and Milwaukee tools have never let me down. Stop wasting money and buy a tool you will not be replacing for a long time. I still have my first Milwaukee circular saw (has to be 15 years old) and it works just as good as my new one. I promise you, you will not regret buying a Milwaukee tool!"

"Batteries last a long time, but when they run down there is no warning. I have 3 total batteries and with the ability to rotate the batteries, I can work all day seve days a week!!! Very well made, I have had my tool for 4 years and never had a problem one. If I lost my drill, I would definately replace it with the same on."

Milwaukee 18 volt Hammer Drill,
April 21, 2008
By althumbs

"The drill itself was everything I hoped for. It was heavy duty, and reasonably light weight. It fit my hand well , absorbed a lot of the vibration, and was quick as my corded hammer drill. The problems began when I changed the battery. The second battery lost it's charge way too soon. I had to wait for the first to charge so I could finish what I was doing. After a good charging I put the unit in my truck, where it stayed for a couple weeks. When I needed it again both batterys were dead, so I charged them again and all seemed OK.By the time the warrenty was up on the batterys thay were both shot. I replaced them both and the cycle started again. Upon the death of the second set the drill went in the dumpster."

Cordless hammer drill kit,
April 21, 2008

"I've owned this product for about 2 months and I've found it exceeds all my expectations! It has tremendous torgue for both drilling and hammer drilling along with normal screw driver functions. I was hesitant at first but I'm so impressed with the hammer drill capabilities that I've sold my corded 1/2 inch Milwaukee Hammer Drill. There's nothing I needed the corded model to do that this cordelss version won't do. Recharge time on the batteries from full drain to full power seems to take less than an hour so I carry a spare battery, but these new Li-on batteries run full power until they're almost completely drained and they have a power indicator that gives a readout of the power left. Overall a great tool one that I'm glad I added to collection."

"I have used other battery-powered drills/drivers for many years and own other Milwaukee corded products. The tool balance is good and I find the 18v battery pack provides plenty of useful life. I like the combination of driver/hammer/drill all in one tool. I would strontly recommend this product and expect it will have a long and useful life."

"When milwaukee came out with this cordless 18 volt hammer drill it was a god send. Working in crawl space, under stages, any tight space were it's to hard get a corded drill in. I've have had several cordless's and always they never seem to hold up very long under the brutal work I do,but this milwaukee has done right by me it's never broken down on me in the last seven years. It my not look pretty but its still going and it is in use still everyday on the job.I high recommend to everybody I have to co-workers and friends and they are thrilled. I would like to commend Milwaukee on product. Thanks for being the best of the best in my book."

18v Hammer Drill,

"This is one excellent tool. It has built 3 basements, countless household projects, and it still performs just as it did the day I bought it. The reversible battery has been an awesome function. The only "bad" thing that I can say, is the battery can be a little large and cumbersome, but I whole heartedly recommend this tool for the home owner to a contractor."

"This was my first cordless drill. I purchased it because my brother in law let me use his. He is a electrician and uses his daily. It is awsome. Lots of power and torque for a long time and the hammer feature makes drilling holes in concret very easy. I have had it for three years and just had to replase a battery. Not bad for all the use I give it. I also have a Milwaukee skill saw 18Volt. It had a problem and I called a local Milwaukee repair shop and they are fixind it for free! They have a five year warranty. I would buy another in a minute,, if it should ever ... get stolen, as it will probally last forever."
