"We bought this grinder for grinding concrete with a 7" diamond grinding wheel. It performed really well. The torque is amazing, you really can put some muscle to it. PLEASE NOTE: This thing is heavy. The metal body makes it almost indestructable, but it is extremely heavy! If you are using it to grind on the floor, fine. If you are needing to manuver it around a lot though, I would say look for a lighter grinder. It's probably the heaviest grinder I've ever used. P.S. for grinding concrete we've always had better luck with a higher speed grinder like the 4.5" 11or12,000 rpm grinders with good quality diamond wheels."
