Steamer Add-On,
August 19, 2008

"This is the first steamer unit I've ever purchased. I decided to go with the add-on since I already had a new pressure washer and I have no regrets. I only wish it had two steerable wheels similar to the two fixed ones that come on it, 'cause this bad-boy is pretty heavy with a full fuel tank and the two extra wheels would make it easier to maneuver, in general. I tried to mount two small metal wheels but that made it uneven and it won't run without being level. I'll figure out something.... Overall, it's a strong-performing unit and well worth the investment!"

"I would recommend this product. It does the job from small to large items easly. It is easly use, for hook up and ready to wash. You have a good pressure washer at least 2400 psi and it will peel off the paint."

Great addition to any pressure washer,

"I purchased this after disappointing results using degreasers to get a Bobcat ready to paint. Only took 15 minuts for this to look like new (-) the rust driving the need for a paint job.
Keep this away from stickers, peels them off like no tomorrow (may be the HEAT for your kids bumper stickers)!
This puppy is HEAVY, the wheels provided give you about 1" of clearance, OK if you're working on pavement or cement, but a bit of a challenge when going "cross-country".
Great attachment, wish I purchased it years ago!"

"unit works like it says it will. This is my second one the first one lasted 5 years with almost daily use and still works just getting old. This one has a heat sheld between fuel tank and fire box good idea. the old one melted fuel tank when it got too hot. wish they could come up with better insulation around the burner. Other than that no changes needed."

Simple and Does the Job,
March 6, 2007

"After 3 years of regular repairs to our steam cleaner I ran the numbers and decided to buy the North Star unit and just hook it up to our HP Washer. It was the right move, a simple effective piece of equipment.
When we recieved the machine the pressure relief valve kept opening, I called the service people at North Star and they sent me a new valve right away, before we installed the new valve, we adjusted our power washer and then the relief valve worked fine.
Good machine, value priced."
