What A Quality Bench Grinder, August 18, 2008

"I purchased this grinder for a small workshop that I have. After reviewing many brands and models, I felt, the Dewalt was my best bet as far as money and quality are concerned. Assembling the tool rests and guards took a couple of minutes. I planned to secure the grinder to my work bench but, the screws to remove the wheel covers are underneath and would not be accessible if secured to a bench. I use the grinder for odd jobs and projects around the house so, this grinder suits my needs perfectly. I'm glad I decided on the Dewalt"

"This is a great medium duty grinder. It was vibration free from the time I took it out of the box and is simple to assemble. Changing the grinding wheels is straightforward. I use this to replace a lighter duty grinder, and I'm delighted with it thus far. It is just right for my home shop, where I do everything from home projects to repairing medium scale farming equipment."

"This is my first bench grinder. AssembIy was easy. I was glad to see both a fine and coarse wheel. Both wheels seems to run in good balance. I've sucessfully sharpened several tools and made repairs to several others. I wish I had a grinder like this years ago. Every home shop should have one at this price and quality level."
