Great gadget, May 1, 2008

"I purchased one of these years ago for my wife as kind of a gag gift for Christmas. I always used the tennis ball on fishing line device. She loves this stop light and she insisted we take it when we moved. The only problem I have with it is that it attracts kids who want to play with it."

"ParkZone is very easy to install. It mounts using 4 screws (provided). I used plastic screw inserts (not included) because the mounting was on sheet rock. I also installed the 4 AA batteries (not included). The total install time was less than 10 minutes. No problems at all.
I think the ParkZone is a useful and needed product. I wish it would consistently detect the approaching vehicle. When the vehicle enters the garage the green light should light, it never has. When the vehicle approaches the desired parking spot the yellow light comes on occasionally, but usually much too close to the garage wall. When the vehicle is in the desired parking spot the red light comes on, not all the time and always too close to the garage wall.
I have calibrated and re-calibrated the unit 5 or 6 times with no affect to it's consistency. I remounted the sensor, first lower then higher and this had no affect either. I changed the batteries twice, no change.
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I have tried everything I can think of. I hope you have better luck with yours.

"I BOUGHT 3 PARK ZONES ONE OF THEM WORKS GREAT THE OTHER 2 JUST FLASH RED. NEW BATTERIES WERE IN BOTH, EVEN PUT THE BAD ONES IN SAME LOCATION AS THE GOOD ONE AND SWAPPED BATTERIES DONOT BUY!"
