Aerator Shoes,
August 12, 2008
By Candy

"Great Idea- but poorly made. The shoes were very flimsy and made out of cheap materials. One of the straps broke on the first use. The spikes started to rust within a couple weeks.
Next time I will just make my own."

Best Aerator Ever!!,
August 11, 2008
By ShaneC
from Mars Hill, NC

"We looked EVERYWHERE for Aerator shoes and these were the BEST. We live in the mountains where the soil is hard red clay, nothing helps to grow a beautiful lawn better than these. We just strap them on while doing yard work and after it rains you can see the results from a properly watered lawn. You won't be disapointed!"

Clumpy,
August 11, 2008

"Once I placed the order for these aerator shoes, I couldn't wait to receive them. I had read a review where a customer used these each time he mowed the yard and thought they were the wonderful, so I was convinced they were going to be great to use. That was not the case with me. They were very difficult to walk in. When I would penetrate the ground with the shoes, more often than not, I would pull out large clumps of dirt with the spikes. Also the bottom of the shoes would quickly become clogged with clumps of dirt, so I repeatedly had to sit down to remove the compressed dirt from the bottom of the aerator shoes."

Needs custom adapting to fit large shoes,
May 29, 2008
By pickenspilot

"Straps are too small for my size 13 shoe. Found that using self tapping screws to attach sandals to the bottom of my boots worked very well. Two into heal lip and two up into soles at edges of the ball of foot. Sandals are very much more secure this way than with straps and can easily be removed by backing out the screws."

Aerator Shoes,
April 21, 2008
By LawnDoc2

"Easy to assemble. Fit well around sneakers. They seem to work well and aerate the lawn well when I am mowing the lawn, but they do increase the work of walking. You have to take some exaggerated steps to walk more easily. Will not use them every time I mow the lawn, but periodically when I have the time to walk at a leisurely pace around the lawn. Best used when raking or doing some slow paced activity."

Aerator Shoes Field Test,
April 15, 2008
By ItsAMansWorld

"I had heard of Aerator Shoes before marketed through another retailer so, when I added these to my catalog purchase recently I was eager to try them out on my lawn first.
I worked them over my yard for about an hour and a half... got some good exercise to boot. I left town and returned about a week ago.
After about 2 weeks i can definitely discern a difference in overall grass root spread, division and growth that i attribute to the stimulation given by the action of the aerator shoe spikes."

"The straps in the illustration are not exactly what you get. The straps are difficult to place on a pair of shoe because they don't hold properly. Not an easy product to use."
