"Our high school welding program has had this grinder for over 12 years! These kids beat the heck out of it from September until May. Excellent durability. The bearings are just starting to make a little noise, but it is still going strong! I am utterly amazed. Just make sure you keep it clean.
I have had to repair a few broken wires coming into the switch due to what I like to call "child abuse" (since I have 9-12 graders using it all the time). I have had to replace the power cord, too, since kids like to grind through it..."
