"i purchased this for my 15 acers of grass in front royal virginia, i pull it with my atv and it works great. I have to go along and pick up sticks and can't let it get to long, but if you can stay on top of that it is a great time saver."

"unless lawn is flat with no incline a 15 hp tractor will sit and spin its tires. Will not pull it up the slightest incline. It does cut grass well but tall or tougher weeds are left uncut. lots of streaks. Even at very slow speeds it will not cut weeds or grass pushed down by tire tracks. Several passes over the same area left almost all of the taller seed shoots sent up by a crab grass type weed."

Pro Mow 7 Gang Reel,

"While I was somewhat discouraged by the length of time it took to receive my mower (almost 2 months) it was well worth the wait! This mower was shipped/ received unassembled which actually made it quite easy for me to unload it from the truck. It only took about 10 minutes to assemble the unit and I was ready to mow. This mower takes some getting used to since it is almost 5 feet wide on either side of where I sit on my tractor but after a few minutes of geting acclamated I realized this was money well spent. I mow almost three acres of lush, green lawn and am used to spending 3 hours on my mower, constantly cleaning out the chute of my bagger since it would usually clog with grass clippings. The Pro Mow 7 cuts very evenly and shears the grass clippings into tiny pieces so there is no clumping and no evidence of lawn clippings in the yard. I was able to mow the entire yard in about 45 minutes and the lawn looks great. I did have to go over some areas with my mower that I could not get close to with the pro-mow 7 but the manufacturer warned me of this prior to purchasing it. I would not recommend this mower system if you have a lot of trees or obstacles in your yard but if you have a wide open, large area to mow this is the mower for you. Just make sure your tractor can handle pulling the weight of this unit since it weighs close to 400 pounds. I have a 20 hp mower and while it works well with the unit it did have a tendancy to bog down the engine on some slight inclines in my yard. I would guess it you have a large hill or steep terrain to mow you might want to consider a larger hp tractor or simply going downhill a lot with the pro-mow 7 behind you."
