"I have owned one of the high output belt driven generators for about six years. It is installed on a removable plate in the back of my pickup truck and is driven by a 25 HP Honda engine. I use it on my 3 acres of wooded property to provide power for my electric chain saw. I also use it for backup power for our house. It has never let me down and I have used it many times during power outages. I also use it to power my RV when we travel. One of its best features is the number of convenient power receptacles including 220 volt plugs. The meters are also useful in making sure the output is what one expects. The workmanship is excellent and I expect it to last me many years.

North Star Belt Driven Generator,

"I fabricated a cart to hold my North Star Generator and a 20hp Onan engine hooked them together with 5" sheaves and gave it a try. It is great it powers my whole house lighting and it runs my well, no more trying to read by candle light and worrying about flushing the toilet. When the Michigan winter storms knock out the power I dont have to worry about losing the freezer contents or building a fire in the fireplace, It was the best investment I made to combat lack of power."
