Sonic Pest Repeller,

"I have purchased two of the pest repellers. The one purchased first (1 year ago) still works fine. The one just purchased this summer is not working properly - not giving out sonic tones as when new. I am about to send back for a new one as soon as I find my info, etc. The only other problem is after the yard hardens with summer heat, they will not go deep into the ground. When they work properly the DO repel moles."

"I have not had good luck with this product. They have had to send me 2 replacements, they either quit working after a short time, or they just stay on constantly, using up batteries."

Sonic Mole Repellents,

"They don’t work! I left them in the ground for over a week. The moles just dug new tunnels about 3 inches away from them. They’re supposed to work in a range of up to 100 ft diameter. I had to resort to getting poison tablets for them instead."

"I have 6 of these in my yard. When they work, they work fine. The problem is the seals quickly deteroriate letting moisture in the electronics and they stop working. A better designed seal would be an enhancement."

Sonic Pest Repeller Item# 168347,

"I purchased two Sonic Pest Repellers this past year and placed them in my yard where Shrews, Moles and other burrowing rodents were at work. I noticed a decrease in new mounds, some of the established openings were no longer being used. It appears the majority of colonies moved on, but a few still hung around. The Sonic Pest Repeller pushes in moist un-compacted soil fairly easily with a little twisting to widen the hole. The tip and top unit can pull off when trying to force the unit into the ground, but can be replaced with a good silicone sealer if not broken off. The unit must be move to keep the rodents from burrowing further away from the original placement of the unit. Good coverage range for my soil and rodents seems to be twenty feet or 400 sq ft, this coming spring will be the better test."
