Tough Little Pump,
August 18, 2008
By Sorted
from North Texas
|
"I've had 2 of these pumps, now don't get concerned I abuse them. I use this pump for my 500 Gallon Koi pond, not "exactly clean water". I used to have to replace the submersable pumps every 6-8 months, since I started using this one I replace it every 18 months or so. It runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week through Texas summers and winters. Only drawback is that it has to be primed when it looses a draw."

"For the money this pump works well. I was not impressed with the electrical connections though. Other than that it does a fantastic job. Not to loud and for the price you can't beat it."

"outstanding for the price! Very powerful. The large inlet and outlet sizes helps the pump high volume. I will buy another."

Pump for cleaning fish.,
August 11, 2008
By Dockman
from Lake Buchanan, Texas
|
"This pump has been outstanding; I purchased it for my fish cleaning table on my boat dock, and for general dock clean up. We live in central Texas and are currently in our usual drought. My dock is approximately 400 feet from my house; my wife has streached water hose from my pump to her garden and flower beds (500 feet up hill) and has been running my pump about 3 hours a day for the past 3 weeks; we both love that little pump."

This pump works just fine.,
August 11, 2008
By Eldeneda1

"I've only had this pump for a few months, but so far it's worked flawlessly. I use it on a mobile water tank to pump water into a bigger tank. I turn it on and go back an hour later and the trailer tank is almost pumped out. I can depend on it."

work horse,
June 23, 2008
By fish44
from cin,ohio

"This pump is a workhorse. It has outlasted more expensive pumps equal in rating. I use pump to pump waste oil through 1 micro filter. It still pumps over 10 gallons a minute at 45 psi. Does have trouble priming but foot took care of that problem. fantastic buy."

Money wasted,
April 22, 2008
By seminole61
from Sand Hill, MS.
|
"I purchased this pump based on the reviews at the time. I would not recommend the purchase of this pump to anyboby. I own a small horse farm and the pump was to move water along level ground. From a holding pool to the watering troughs. At a distance of 72ft. and a lift of only 2ft. And it could not perform as advised. After only 3 hours of operation it burned up. I had it rewound and still it could not perform the job. It might be good for a kiddy pool but not for real work. I give it an overall rating of 1/2 star."

Pump was DOA,
April 14, 2008
By Wizzard
from Southern CA
|
"Delivered pump was defective & had to be returned. It acted like the starter capacitor was bad. Northern replaced the pump without question. Second pump runs fine. Very capable. It does rust when not used & sitting on the bench & the rotor must be freed up for next use. It's an excellent pump for small utility jobs. Be careful not to let it deadhead. Should be used with a pressure switch or pressure relief device."
