"I won't be without one. I have used this in the basement in the winter around Christmas time when the kids need a little more room to play and have used it in the garage when I need a little more room to play. It has come in handy in my deer blind when I was hunting. Its a great product. Actually I have two of them. I have had no problems with ether of them."

"Mr. Heater has been a great addition at our camping site for hunting. The cabin was kept warm and no worry about accidential shut off. The glow from the burner is a good night light as well"

"I bough the Mr. heater Buddy to heat in my tent when I don't take my RV or when all my family goes to the lake. It keeps the tent cozy on those cool mornings & evenings. Easy to use & portable. I have the Mr. Heater Big Buddy also. They both work well for my desired uses."

Mr. Heater Buddy Portable Heater,
April 21, 2008
By CFritz
from Parker, CO
|
"This is a well built little unit. Operation of the heater is intuitive. Very easy to use. Throws off plenty of heat. Only drawback is that it will not operate at high altitudes (7500 ft above sea level) where I do most of my camping. So, I use it to knock the chill off my radio shack in the basement. It does a real good job of that. Maybe some day Mr. Heater will provide a mod kit or adjustment instructions to allow its use above 7500 feet."

"Used in a electric car. It heated the cabin very easily and saved a huge amount of money by not having to put in an electric heater. This saved on mileage for the electric car. I would highly recommend this for any similar situation."

Campers only!,
April 14, 2008
By GatPC

"Picked this portable heater up for a small basement job. (Larger heater would have blasted us out.) We ran through the 2.5 lb. propane cylinder in about an hour (unit on high) with not much change in room temperature. Not recommended for job sites but might do well in a camper or trailer."

Mr Buddy Rocks!,

By Mafi

"We went snow camping in Yosemite in March, BRRR it was cold. This heater was great- we have a large tent w/2 kids and it kept us all warm. The only negative was changing the tank in the middle of the night. Otherwise it was so worth it! highly recommend, may buy the larger one now as well;-)"

Buddy portable heater,

By MrFixer
from long Island NY

"Works well, well made and handy. Unique as I have never seen similar items in any store or site. You can use it with small propane bottles or with haose 20 pound or larger bottles. Runs a long time even on small bottles. You dont have to heat whole house just where you are at to save money."
