Excellent sprayer for the $$$$,
August 20, 2008
By JCinTrafalgarfrom Trafalgar, Indiana
"Purchased this sprayer and also a boom to broadcast spray behind garden tractor. We hope to use the boom on an upcoming project.
The sprayer works great for bug spray and weed killer. We get a great balance of fan vs. spray. The unit is easy to clean and durable. After many seasons the sprayer is still holding up and appears like new. Only recommendation would be a longer hose to the wand. When we spray weed/grass killer around trees, we could use a little more distance from the tank. That is easy to fix after the fact. Not a reason to avoid this sprayer, in fact, we encourage buying this sprayer/tank combo.
We are considering the purchase of a second tank. This will allow us to dedicate one tank to strictly weed/grass killer and one tank for various bug killers. Seems safer that way. <wink>"

"I purchased this along with the boom and agitator for use on my JD Gator.
Ended up building a base so it was stable in the bed of the gator. Boom mounted ot the hitch fine.
Unit has plenty of power, is light weight so it's easy to handle, and carrys enough chenical so you're not making trips to the barn every five minutes.
20 to 30 more feet of additional hose are a must for those places you have to dismount.
good product for the $$.

Spot sprayer,
August 11, 2008
By 409carfrom Riverton, Wyoming
"This is the second weed sprayer that we have purchased from Northern Tool. We use both of them on a regular basis. We have been satisfied with the quality of this sprayer in that it is easy to put on and take off the 4 wheeler, it has large capacity, and have had no leaks. We did exchange the spray nozzle with another that we purchased from Northern Tool. We also added a longer hose to make it easier to reach a greater distance. We are happy with this purchase."

"The 26 Gallon model I got is just the right size to spray about an acre and the out side of the house. The pump is strong and sprays at least 35 foot into trees. If you want to save a lot of time get the 26 gallon tank you wont be sorry."

Spot Sprayer,
August 11, 2008
By popiefrom Clinton, LA
"I purchased a 25 gallon Northern Sprayer 10 years ago or more. I finally wore it out and ordered the new 26 gal replacement. There have been a number of improvements over the past years. This one also has a more powerful pump. I would highly recommend it. The only problem I have had is with the new taller design. It is top heavy and must be tied down. It comes with straps for a four wheeler but in a flat bed it is hard to anchor."

Pump mounts,

By HBourquefrom Sunset, La
"According to the manual the pump should come mounted to the tank, but it was not and all of the pump mounting screws were bent, resulting in me have to purchase replacement screws. Other then that, the sprayer works fine."

Farm Use,
April 21, 2008
By wvfarmerfrom WV
"I purchased this sprayer to spray crossbow herbicide on multi flourose on our farm. I use it on a 500cc suzuki fourwheeler which enables me to traverse several steep power line right-of-ways on our farm to spray. I have already sprayed nearly 500 gallons of herbicide through this sprayer which has worked flawlessly for me. The 26 gallon tank enables me to stay out longer between refills and allows me to put more spray on where it counts. I would recomend this sprayer to any one who needs a heavy duty sprayer for agriculture use or any other use that is demanding."
