Swisher Snowthrower,

"This is one of the best snow "blowers" I have ever used. It is extremely easy to operate although a little heavy for me [I am a 69 year old female]. But it does a wonderful job clearing my drive. Even in heavy, deep snow. I only wish I had ordered it earlier in the season."

Difficult to steer,
April 14, 2008

"Handles are too close together. As a result the snow blower is unstable and very difficult to steer straight, even on a paved surface. I know of no other snowblower - including others from this same manufacturer - that has this defect. E-mail exchange with the manufacturer indicates that they have an extra-price "kit" that reportedly corrects the stability problem. However, I found it cheaper to come up with my own fix. Other than this design defect this is a good, husky snowblower. Be aware, though, that the skids are skimpy and the shear bolts are not interchangable with those used on many familiar brands of snowblowers."

sno blower,

"This is one awesome blower. My first, and I'm very satisfied. We had over 4-5 feet of snow this winter,(still have 3 feet on the ground) This machine handled it all. It came already oiled up, and for someone that is NOT a professional anything, it is one of the easiest things to handle, and maneuver. The two speed reverse was VERY handy, the tires get wonderful traction. It started easy even with the below zero temps. I have a bad back (broke it 3 times) and This machine was very easy for me to use. I've already recommended to the neighbors, and they are very jealous the price was right too, delivery was very fast, all I had to do was put gas in it and start her up. Very very satisfied. (although the week after I ordered mine I was notified that they lowered the price) That is the only drawback that I can say about it."

Swisher Two-Stage Snowthrower w/Electric Start,

"I must say my experience with Northern Tool was great. I've experienced 3 heart attacks, bypass surgery and more than a couple of stents so when my snowthrower bit the dust during this past winter I was in need of a replacement fast. I did the usual search on the internet to find the best value and came across this unit. Seeing the unit when it arrived confirmed what I thought when I made the purchase, quality across the board! Well constructed and everything as described. I had the snowthrower for a week when we got hit with another storm, much to my delight I must add, and it started on the first pull and didn't disappoint in removing the snow. Coupled with 12 months same as cash it was hands down the best value for the buck I could have hoped for. Chuck"

"Swisher built product are high quality, "built to last." That company really stands behind their name. Made in the USA. Warrensburg, MO. I have their T60 Tow Mower. The only thing I would change about this Snowblower is: put a Headlamp on it. But it does offer these features.
Wide 27-inch clearing path deck 21.625-inch intake height cuts through drifts with ease Powerful, quiet, fuel efficient Briggs & Stratton OHV Snow Series 11 Gross Torque engine Heavy-duty 12-inch serrated, steel augers break up ice and chunky snow 12-inch impeller prevents chute from clogging by discharging snow at increased speeds Freeze resistant recoil electric start provides easy start in cold weather 16x4.8-inch Carlisle X-TRAC tires for superior durability and traction in harsh conditions Loop style handle for easy maneuverability while wearing gloves or mittens Self-propelled, wheel drive system Heavy-duty, 14 gauge steel frame Long-lasting, adjustable skid shoes High density poly chute rotates easily left to right Manual discharge chute deflector"
