Must have tool!,

"As a first time hotrod builder, there are many tools that I reach for, but none more than my plasma cutter. This cutter is absolutely fantastic and is a huge time saver! I have air saws and cutters of various types but I always reach for my Hobart AirForce 250 if I want to cut metal or aluminum fast, clean and easily! I would recommend this product to anybody even remotely thinking about purchasing one. I only regret one thing and that is buying all the other cutting tools!
You won't go wrong with this and will enjoy the easy to read instructions and reliability of a HOBART machine."

"I loved this unit from the first day we got it at the shop. Easy to setup and use. Electricity bill has not changed sense we got it either. Our old 110v plasma used the same amount of power as the 220v does. We here at Gopher Mining Products all love this machine very much."

"Right out of the box this Hobart saved me time and money. I cut off exhaust flange bolts at the manifold on a Dodge truck where it was not possible to use a torch. They were larger than 1/4" and it was no problem. This is an excellent tool. From Northern I purchased it at a substantial savings and got a gift card in the deal. I only wish I would have bought it sooner."

"It was very easy to use right out of the box. Most of my work is around the house on hobbie cars. It cut the hole in the bed of my truck for a fuel cell without burning the paint. Every hobbiest needs one."

"I just bought the unit and tried it for the first time. I loved the fact that you don't need a compressor and it's so easy to set up and use. It worked really well with clean cuts on .125 and below but I use 3/16" frequently and found that you have to have a very steady hand to get a good cut and it'sslow but still faster that a bandsaw, if you try to go back and re-cut the results are disappointing, if you plan on using 3/16" (.188) I would recommend sizing up as I am going to return the 250 and buy the Hobart Airforce 400, I already have a compressor. Plasma Cutter,

By Fenwickfrom Dresden, OH
"Overall, this is a great unit. It works perfectly for cutting sheet metal - I use it a lot for making metal art and signs. The only problem I found with it is that if it is a particularly humid day (i.e. raining) the unit gets moisture inside of it and won't arc up. This has happened a couple of times, one of which was very annoying because it took a few hours of messing with the unit to get the moisture out (I really needed it that day or I would have gone back on a dry day...) However - I understand that this is a problem with most plasma cutters. Other than that - works great!"
