Once you get it to seal...,
July 1, 2008
By djgfyrman

"Once you get this can to seal around the larger opening, it is the best gas can I own. Easy to pour, as the spout turns on as you press it to the fuel tank opening, and shuts off when you release... Can't say enough good about it.... But the price is a little high!!!"

Leaks and Hard to open and pour.,
May 20, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewer

"Blitz has changed their design. The can is the same as the old one but the spout was steel and flexible it is now plastic, hard and rigid. This makes it hard to pour from and fuel is easy to spill. The old metal screw top had a rubber gasket and steel cap. This could be tightened real easy with a screwdriver or other long narrow object to make an air tight seal. The new plastic cap is very hard to get sealed and even harder to open. (Can't get leverage.) Plastic tops will not last as long as the can. I have swiched to other company's cans that use steel tops or clamps."

Blitz 5-Gallon Metal Gas Can,
January 14, 2008
By JR1863

"There are more expensive cans with less quality on the market. If you buy a gas can for commercial or 4X4 recreational use you need to buy this one. Guaranteed, buy another and then see this one you'll regret the purchase. This can with the rack you are good to go... ANYWHERE!"

"I love this "JerryCan"! You couldnt ask for a better way to carry 5 gallons of fuel when you off-roading. I use this can on those trips when your just not sure where you may end up. Mount it to your spare tire holder or strap it to your roof rack its solid and secure."

"This is an extremely durable, safe gas can. I have accidentally run into it with my truck and the worst that happened was a tire mark on the can. This is a much safer gas can than the plastic ones."

Blitz 5-Gallon Metal Gas Can - CARB Compliant,

By GASCAN

"Great gas cans include metal cap for transpotation and plastic cap for pouring. Fits ARB bumpers for my Jeep great. No rattle or moving around once the metal edge mounts on the bumper and the top of the clamp locks down on the handle."

"These fuel containers are great. The metal canister will last much longer than plastic containers. Easy to pour. Also use transfer pump to small engine equipment. The two work well together."

Sidecar Savior,
September 2, 2007
By SidecarBob
from Bowman, GA

"Purchased this and the companion holder to bolt to my motorcycle sidecar. The material is heavy gage and the fit & finish exceeded expectations. Other cans that I evaluated did not have the no-spill feature yet cost more. The gas can extends my driving range and is insurance against running out of fuel. On shorter trips and running errands, removing the gas can allows the accessory holder to carry small items that can be strapped in-place."
