"I hate rolled up hoses lying on the ground. This reel solves that problem and allows me to easily move the hose from area to area with little effort. The reel with the hose attached is heavy enough that it won't tip over when you pull it out so that frustration is over. Overall, I like this much better than the cheaper lighter ones because of the above issues. It costs more, but I believe it's worth it."

Have to agree with the other reviewers,

"Cart has to be tipped onto it's rear wheels to make turns, as both axels are 'fixed'... front casters would be a 'plus'. Rolls very well in a straight line. Handle construction doesn't assemble tightly, and creates a loose feel when handling or manuvering. Spool brake works as described, and finish (and tires) have held up well for two years now. Leader hose has 'checkering' in outer layer of rubber. In this case, dollar amount for purchase doesn't equal quality of product or design."

Rapid Reel Hose Reel,
December 27, 2007
By JCMillfrom Richmond, Virginia
"I purchased this reel to store 200' of 5/8 hose. The first time I unloaded reel from back of pickup and dropped it 1 1/2' to the floor, the support arm on the rear broke. I am now in the process of trying to get a replacement part from manufacture. Not a commercial grade piece of equipment."

"Not only was it almost impossible to assemble following the poorly illustrated instructions, now that it is assembled it is the worst hose reel I have ever used or owned. I would not recommend this reel to anyone. I am copletely disatisfied."
