Love at first cut,

"Oh, is this a sweet tool. When I first got it, I didn't really expect much because of being battery powered. But the first time I tried it on a piece of angle iron, it stole my heart. No more hack saws, cutting torches, plasma cutters. This thing cut very fast, has no sparks. Many trim jobs that I'd have used a grinder for are now done with this saw. And it cuts wood as readily as it does that angle iron. Use a different blade, though. It's powerful and easy to handle. I love it!"

Just Like the Corded Model, but More Convenient,

"If you cut metal with any frequency, this is a great tool to have in your shop. In my shop, I use it to cut tool steel (annealed) and mild steel bars, which it does with ease. This saw is well designed and easy to use, plus there's no cord to drip over or get tangled up in. Absolutely a top notch tool for metal workers."

Cordless Band saw,
January 14, 2008
By Ranger1from Dayton Ohio
"I do on site service work on all kinds of equipment. The less amount of tools I have to take to the job site reduces my time. The convience of cordless band saw has more than paid for its self. The first time there is no close power where your working or a in tight area. I am more than happy to leave the 100 foot extension cord in the truck. You also do not have to worry about a burn permit like when using torches to cut. This is by far the best hand tool I have purcahesded in 2007."

"Saw works great but battery makes it somewhat heavy and a little clumsey. I would recommend a saw with cord if power is not a problem."

Sweet,
October 29, 2007
By jd548from Joplin Missouri
"Work bought us the cordless bans saw. And man this is one sweet tool. The battery keeps a nice charge time, cuts through any metal we have set it on. I have debated about buying one for the house even if only used it once it would be well worth it. so if had to describe this tool I would half to say, SWEET"
