"bought the cheapest and am sorry, would have cut the limb off quicker if I had ordered a rasp. That's what I get for going cheap."

Worked great,
April 21, 2008
By Nette
from Eros, LA
|
"My son has one of these pole saws and I kept saying that I was going to borrow his. Well, I just decided to buy my own and am so glad I did. I have plenty of trees on our property and when mowing, I don't like to have to duck below low hanging branches. This works like a charm. Should have bought one a long time ago. I used to use just a step ladder and regular chain saw. This is so much safer!! Easy to use and is great for small to medium limbs. Larger diameter limbs, though, might required a bigger saw."

pole pruner,
April 21, 2008
By jmorr
from IA
|
"If you want a cheap pole pruner, here it is. I was not happy as soon as I took it out of the box, it felt cheap.. Would not start for about the first 100 pulls on the cord. And would not stay running when throttled up.Might as well buy a hand prunner."

Poulan Pole Saw,
April 21, 2008
By FlaBob
from Monticello, FL
|
"This is a great saw for most light to medium jobs. It starts easily and cuts well. The string trimmer attachment also works well although it would be a little easier to use if it were a straight shaft rather than a curved shaft model."

A good machine for the price,
January 15, 2008
By Barnraiser
from Warner, NH
|
"This was the perfect tool for light to medium duty cutting. I had several side branches on some overgrown trees and it did the trick effeciently and effectively. I wasn't willing to spend two to three times for other saws and I was glad I did not. I feel that it was up to the task in respect to power and ease of handling. I appreciated the overall length of the pole as well. One satisfied customer!"

"this product is a good buy for the average joe. One complaint though, I have a hard time trying to start this thing. You better have some starting fluid handy just in case. Once it starts it will keep on running."

Disappointment,
October 28, 2007
By ranchhand
from Texas
|
"I bought this saw because of favorable reviews and not too expensive. Upon first examination, the saw seems to be of pretty good quality. It is very easy to start but won't run worth a darn. Almost every time I tilt it up to cut a branch, the motor stalls. The gas pickup is in the rear and totally submerged in gas. With throttle wide open, the motor runs unevenly and sometimes stalls. A big disappointment - fresh out of the box. I will check to see if the fuel line is kinked. Sent an e-mail to Poulan Pro and will see what their response is."
