Minor adjustment,
August 18, 2008
By Bucco
from dodge county, wi

"I love the big tank, I had to add another shut off for the boom, so I coudl stop the drip without getting close to the chemical I LOVE the droplets, NO DRIFT. I spray round up rigth inside my 8 ft wide tree rows and never touched a tree... Perfect. But the boom that comes with it junk, literraly 1 hour it was bent sagging, just no good. I took and put on one fo thsoe chainsaw holder things on the back with a piece of stainless, with the same adjustable holes in the center, and voila! I would not be without it., If you are doing big fields and want to inhale more chemical and get a more even "fog" good for you, I am burnign back precise areas and I can use mine in a 10 mph wind with ZERO drift, I only kill wha ti want to kill. the boomless sprayer is awesome you can go anywhere and not tear it off. I love it."

Great Sprayer,
August 11, 2008
By vleeter
from South Dakota
|
"This sprayer does everything it is designed for. The pump is excellent, spray nozzles are excellent. There are some minor things that need to be improved.1 Use ratcheting tie downs 2 Had to drill out the mounting hole to 5/8 to fit tighter on the receiver hitch. 3 Needed to put a brace from the upright boom arm down to the bottom mounting bracket to keep the nozzles straight up and down. I spray a lot of rough pasture so just needed to make some very simple and minor changes. Over all a very good sprayer. THANKS NORTHERN"

"This is a great tool. The straps that come with it are a bit weak but replacing them with better straps is no big deal. Had some leaks in the gun. There is considerable change in the center of grav on your atv. Good pump, good volume, good control. This has saved me atleast 20 man hours / wk."

ATV sprayer,
April 22, 2008
By JCnVA
from Central VA
|
"AWESOME sprayer. This thing will really pump 4 gallons per minute. It will empty that tank in no time. The only things that keeps me from rating this a 5 star product are 2 things. As someone else also mentioned in their reviews. 1. Use ratchet straps to secure the tank in place ( not the things included with the kit) they will not hold the tank when full from shifting around which makes the ATV very insecure on a slope. 2. Is the nozzle attachment on the rear. It takes some jury rigging to make it secure and I have to remove my ball hitch...bummer. But overall these are not that big of a deal for me so I would rate it a 4 1/2 stars. JC"

Boomless Sprayer Review,
April 22, 2008
By zman77
from pennsylvania
|
"Product definitely performed as advertised no problem spraying 25 to 30 ft. path. Boom is a little weak and flops a lot, I made modifications to attach it at the top as well. A good value compared to other brands found in other stores, well worth the $$. I would recommend it to anyone for all types of uses."

"I purchased this item with the intention of using it on my UV. It has worked out well. I made modifications to the mounting of the sprayer on the hitch. I had it welded vs. bolting it on. I would recommend it to others."

ATV Sprayer,
October 29, 2007
By MikeOD
from Griswold, Iowa
|
"This sprayer is easy to assemble and use. I have enjoyed using this sprayer on several fields and fence rows. Neighbors have come over and borrowed my ATV and sprayer. Easy to fill and drain. The only thing I would recommended buying stronger ratchet straps. The factory issue one are weak and the tank will slip in on any incline."
