Parts Washer,

"I have had several parts washers over the years and I purchased this one several months ago. The best feature is the size. I can put any parts that you need to clean without leaving parts hanging over the end to wash. The valve to switch from nozzle to brush is a great feature. A lot of product for the money."

Pump Probllem,
May 5, 2008

"After having this parts washer set up a couple of days the pump started to loose its prime. Each time that I used it, I had to pick the pump out of the fluid and then back before it would pump. After being primed each time the pump worked very well until it was stopped. Then prime again. I tried everything that I could think of to fix the problem but finally purchased a new Little Giant pump which ran perfectly. Other than that, I have been very impressed with this washer. It is built very well and should last a long time. I found another Little Giant pump that was rated almost 700 GPH and installed a filter system that runs independently from thke other pump. Attached a filter bracket on the side to circulate when needed. Almost forgot. The factory supplied rocker switch for the pump went dead. I mounted a 110 box and switch beside the washer which works perfectly."

50 GALLON PARTS WASHER,
March 8, 2007
By CLAUDE
from IN
|
"UNIT WAS SIMPLY TO ASSEMBLE, UPS GOT A LITTLE ROUGH ON THINGS, UNIT DOES A GREAT JOB AND ALLOWS FOR LARGER ITEMS TO BE SOAKED, VERY NICE PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY. I WISH IT WOULD NOT TAKE SO MUCH FLUID TO OPERATE I DIDN'T FIGURE 20 GALLON AS THIS IS THE MAX CAPACITY BUT IT DOESN'T WORK WITH MUCH LESS THAN THAT, WITH THE $ OF FLUID I WOULD MAYBE CONSIDER THE HIGHER PRICED WASHER THAT NORTHERN OFFERS ON A BARREL THAT ONLY TAKES 5 GALLONS. I STILL LIKE WHAT I HAVE!"

"This is one of the best parts washers i have ever used i like the way you can use the hose and brush or just move the ball valve and use the medal spout. the light helps to see and there is plenty of room for large parts. the small basket for parts also helps. the filters you can buy to clean the solvent is a big plus to me."

good capacity, good price,

"The 50 gal parts washer is steady on it's feet, and has plenty of room for most parts. In addition to the accessories listed, it includes a shelf that covers about 2/3 of the reservoir, and two baskets. One that hangs on the edge, and one that can sit on the shelf or be immersed in the reservoir.
I should be noted that the quoted 20-gallon max. solvent capacity is more of a minimum. It takes about that amount to get the fluid level high enough for the pump to work. Also, because of the location of the drain plug and how much you have to put in it, if you ever need to drain it, you'll have to replace the drain plug with a valve and a hose. Best to do that before you put any liquid in it."

"Says it holds up to 20 gallons - you need at least 20 gallons for the filler level to the pump to work. Very heavy duty. Arrived to me slightly damaged due to shipment but works fine. The pump inside also had the nipple broken that connects to the actual hose which I had to repair. I used a combination of mineral spirits and oil and it seems to work great. Great value for the money. I would puchase it again."

"THE PARTS WASHER IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT. IT IS MADE VERY WELL. WHEN YOU INSTALL THE LEGS, MAKE SURE YOU PUT THEM TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RAIL. NOT THE INSIDE. IF YOU DONT THE BOLT HOLES WILL NOT LINE UP. I WORK AT A DEALRSHIP AND THIS WASHER IS BETTER THAN THE ONES I USE THERE."
