Small and Mighty........Best Value,

"We needed a transfer pump to remove water from behind a fish pond liner. Northern Tool on-line had just what we were looking for and for a great price. This pump is light-weight yet sturdy, very powerful and FAST in comparison to some submersible pumps I've used in the past. It is self-priming and started pumping water right away. We have used it a few times since to remove water from various locations around the property and it has performed with excellence. I highly recommend the product."

An outstanding and dependable pump,

"This is a great tool to have when you need one. Prime the pump with a little oil on the intake side so that the gasket and impeller stays flexible and it's good to go. Pumps about 375 Gals per Hr, and runs pretty quite. It has an automatic shut off in case of overheating but I haven't seen that as a problem although that's a great protection feature to have built in. Overall this Pony pump is a winner and I would recommend it as an excellent addition to your Tool Supply Chest. It's inexpensive and dependable, and when you need a pump, it will be there for you. Comes with an additional gasket and impeller just in case you need to change that part out."

"This pump worked very well for moving dirty water relatively quickly. It's portability and flexibility make it ideal for small pumping jobs. The self priming makes it hastle free. It even came with an extra brush and seal."

Excellent Value,

"This pump worked flawlessly for me. I needed a small pump to run cool water through a beer chiller after the initial brewing process. This was the best value I could find after extensive shopping. The pump comes with a spare impeller and an extra set of brushes for the motor. Also included is another gasket for if, and when, you replace the impeller. When you compare it with pumps of similar size you find that it is made of better materials (Chrome plated brass as opposed to plastic) and that it is self priming, an important consideration, and can lift water higher than most other pumps in it's class. You cannot beat the price for a pump of this capacity of lift and gallons per minute flow rate. The handle and stable platform with rubber feet, along with the generous length of the power cord make this pump easy to use. On the downside, this pump makes a rather shrill noise and it is not designed for continuous use. Be sure to wet the impeller before trying to get it to self prime, as stated in the instructions. I have used the inexpensive, drill powered hose pumps before and was disappointed in quality, flow rate and durability of them so, from personal experience, I chose to not consider them. This pump is perfect for my needs and budget."

"I put a 20’ hose in the lake a 20’ hose on the output pumped thirty gallons into my RV. I run it with a 750-watt dc to ac unit. Works like a charm. When I smoke it, I will get another. GREAT for Boon-Dockers, at which I am a professional. A fresh hot shower every day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I was looking for a portable water pump that would run off of my generator in the mountains to make a shower out of. This pump works very well, and it is rebuildable. The brushes and pump impeller are all replaceable."
