Great jack for the price,

"Lifts my new boat trailer with ease. Only reason it does not get 5 stars is the shaft spins instead of moving if the caster is up in the air."

Back saver,
April 15, 2008
By 147391
from Tennessee
|
"I needed a new swivel jack for the small boat trailer I have. I was hurting my back lifting up and taking off the trailer from the truck. I revieced a Northern Tool book in the mail and look to see if there was a jack. I found #147391 which was under .00. I first though it was way to cheap and may not last long. But I ordered it and when it arrived I was surpised. I've been using it for months now and my back feels great. Thanks Northern Tool."

swivel jack,

"I purchased a new swivel trailer jack for a shop built project , Idid not want to spend the typical 30 or more dollars on a side crank jack. I found it to be as good of quality as other jacks I have purchased in the past and will order another if the need arises. verry good quality!"

Swivel Trailer Jack — 750-Lb. Capacity,
January 15, 2008
By Slag
from Ballard, WV
|
"This is the second 750-Lb. Swivel Trailer Jack I have bought from Northern. The first was over three years ago, and is still used all the time on a 6 X 10 trailer. The new one I just put on our jet-ski trailer. For the price, you can not beat this jack. You can put it on in about 10 - 15 minutes, and it is very simple to use."

750 pound trailer jack,
January 14, 2008
By gephet
from New Hampshire
|
"This jack has way too much slop when the post is fully extended or near it and as such when you try to move the trailer aorund it deflects and looks like it's ready to fold up. This also makes direction changes difficult. I have considerably less than 750 lbs on the jack, I think that rating is not accurate if you want to move it on it's own wheel."

trailer jack,
January 14, 2008
By duwster
from Toledo, OH
|
"This jack is very good quality and an excellent price. I did change the mount because I didn't like the way the brackets hung on the tongue of my trailer. I made up two tap blocks and welded them to the tongue and mounted the jack directly to the the tongue. It is more secure this way. I would purchase this item again."
