Reliable Pumping Power,
April 21, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewer
from Hanover, MA
|
"A reliable, quiet, large capacity pump. We use it year round in the cold NE and it can always be relied on to start and pump at capacity. It continues pumping even when stones are sucked in. We use our pump on the Farm for irrigation and dust control. This is our second one."

Semi-Trash Pump , 3",

"I have used and sold this pump many times without having any problems or breakdowns. It seems to be the work horse for gas driven pumps. The 3" discharge gives you many uses from draining to fire fighting."

"This pump has been a very good pump for our use in a heavy construction application. It is very reliable and is heavy-duty allowing us to leave the pump on over an extended time without any problems."

Pool Cover Pumping,
October 30, 2007
By ahawi
from Overland Park,Kansas
|
"I have been in the swim pool maintenance and repair business since 1977. My company has tried a number of things to help streamline and make the work easier in removing the water and debris from a solid pool cover. I purchased this particular models' predecessor in '95 and another just like it a couple of years later. We put a lot of hours and load on these pumps and it was an excellent choice for us. When we finally wore them out we bought this newer model to replace them and like them equally as well. If you have ever had to remove a winter and early springs worth of water, leaves, acorns and whatever the winds have blown in off of a pool cover, then you would know how difficult and long and back breaking such a job can be. This pump can turn a 5 hour job into a 2-3 hour job. I just hope that some engineer doesn't redesign this into something less than what it already is. An excellent semi-trash pump."

NorthStar Pump,

"I bought this pump to replace an older one that had finally given up the ghost. We've used this to transfer water, empty small ponds, circulate water...what a great pump to have around; it doesn't seem to matter if a bunch of moss, leaves or other debris works its way in. The Honda engine has been flawless in its operation and starting...if you need anything like this, you won't go wrong here!"

"Great pump. I've owned this pump for almost five years now with no problems. The discharge can be rotated with four screws to get the water going where you want. This pump is also light enough to lift yourself."
