"I have recently purchased this NorthStar 4000PSI Pressure Washer. It is awesome!!! It handles the job task required of it in little to no time. The smaller unit that's normally used will become obsolete. This unit with the cat pump is worth every penny put into it. "This machine has performed very well since I bought it 4 years ago. The only problems I have had are the wheels becoming wobbly and the handle cracked. The pump, engine, and hoses have held up very well. This machine saw brutal commercial use above 4000PSI for over 2 years. I would recommend for anyone who needs a very powerful pressure washer."

"North Star needs to be commended on this one. It not only does an excellent job at cleaning, it starts first pull every time. I shopped around for a contractor grade pressure washer for a very long time and each time I found one that looked good I immediately compared it to several others on my list.When I came across this one I started comparing my list to this model. Dollar for dollar no other pressure washer even came close,so after months of looking I threw my list away and went to Northern Tool in Melbourne Florida and purchased this make and model. Everybody else wants more money for less quality and Northern tool stands behind this machine with a great warranty and in store service. Make a few comparisons and see if you don't agree."

"Excellent pressure washer! Engine starts and runs flawlessly. Great pressure output from wand. However, be warned, it has enough pressure that it can damage soft woods. Detergent siphon works well, but empties a one gallon container QUICKLY! Other pressure washers I've used "load" the engine when not spraying, creating excess stress on the engine and pump. This one does not have this problem. My only complaint is that the hose rack is basically useless; they could have done better here."

"im a contractor and frequently have customers needing pressure washing services, this washer is rugged enough to stand up to being hauled around and washing jobs that last all day,the pressure adjustment works well,i've got a pressure gauge on it and it will top out at 4800 psi, with a zero tip it will cut mortar off brick faces,i haven't ran across anything i needed that it wouldn't do. i've been using it for over two years and its held up great"
