Too Much !, August 20, 2009
By alantx from Missouri

"I am a 71 year old male homeowner. I purchased this item to wash the upper level of my home that I could not reach with an ordinary wand. It overwhelmed me from the start and I was worn out in short order. I guess this wand would be OK for the fit and strong but not for the ordinary person."

Okay, July 13, 2009
By JoeGH from SW Washington - the state

"Okay if you are ready for a relatively heavy piece of equipment. DEFINETILY DO NOT USE this while on a ladder. Under pressure the end of a 24' wand can be very hard to handle. Once you get accustomed to the "whipping" effect at the end it can be very useful for reaching high-up places. Good luck and be prepared!!"

aluminum wand, November 18, 2008
By hookedup50 from central NJ

"The wand is a bit heavy but does all that I expected from it. It saves me from moving the heavier ladder to clean gutters and then I switch tips and clean windows doubling profit on some jobs."

Contractor, August 16, 2008
By Dnote1 from sandusky, Ohio

"After reviewing other manufacture products and reviewing your customer reviews, I decided to purchased the telescoping wand, This was the best decision I had made! I have a two story house of my own. And I do contract home cleaning. I had no problem reaching any parts of these homes. The wand was easy to assemble and it was easy to make the nessessary height adjustments, it worked superior. The only negative thing about it was it's weight. After a while it will make your arms tired. But the good out weights the bad. on a few occasion I have let a few friends use it and they also were very satisified. GREAT JOB!!!!"

It gets the job done, August 14, 2008
By Falc from MA

"I power wash as side work and this wand has saved me countless time and money by avoiding the up down ladder dance. Yes the harness was weak but some small modifications with some pvc piping and replacing the clips solved this issue. It is like fighting a swordfish on a deep sea fishing excursion but that is to be expected when you take 3500psi and move it 24 ft away from you like a huge lever. That actually gave me the idea to use pvc as a pole stand it worked well. Get creative and you will find this a useful tool."

Aluminum Wand, August 11, 2008
By hotkleen from N/W IN

"this thing is a back breaker, you need the back belt and it is still to hard to handle. Works fine if you have 3 guys to hold it. Get the fiberglass wand works great and one person can handle it no problem."

Sorry product, May 25, 2008
By RAN1 from Richmond Virginia

"The extension pole is built like a tank but this makes it too heavy to use. The support belt is as sorry and cheap as they could make it and it will not support the pole weight in use.
The supply hose for the pole goes through the bottom end and every time you sit the pole down you are bending the hose causing damage. The support between the pole and the belt is a one-hole conduit clamp which you must tighten with a wrench. This makes adjusting the support for confort a hassle.
Don't waste your money. Buy a ladder safety belt and work with a short wand, or rent a manlift."

Included harness valued at $29.99 is useless., September 30, 2007
By handyjim from Michigan

"I purchased the general pump heavy duty 4000 PSI, 24 ft telescoping wand to pressure wash my two story walk out home. I immediately noticed the unit was very awkward (due to the torque from the length and weight of the unit) in the full extended position and I would need the harness to stabilize the wand while reaching the two to three stories I needed to clean. I adjusted the harness, clipped on the wand, and it immediately fell to the ground. I discovered the plastic connectors that snap together are inadequate and cannot support this much weight and force. I would have been pleased if the unit was $29.99 cheaper and I would have gone out and purchased a quality harness. Now I must spend the additional money which puts the cost of this unit over the top.
The wand is easy to handle in positions of 10 ft or less without a harness and does a great job of cleaning."
