Works ok - was expecting better,

"It worked good for a minute, then I had problems with the nossle plugging up. Once it plugs up, the water is forced down the suction tube. After waiting for the tube to dry and straining my sand twice, It finally worked ok. I was expecting a little better though, it takes a long time to do small spots. Just a tip, make sure your sand is really pure, anything bigger than a piece of sand will plug up the nossle."

"I agrre with most of the other reviewers, but here is some added info that is to be put into consideration.
The Nozzle only lasts about 4 Hrs when using Silica sand - and the cost is $25.00 ??!! And they have to order it for You - so if you are going to use it for many Hrs, ask if they have replacement nozzles on hand.
And You cant excange just the ceramic (?) piece You have to buy the whole machined brass thing. (stupid design if U ask me ) It would have been so easy to design it with an exchangable ceramic insert for a Dollar or two. Like most of the sand-blasters."

"Purchased sandblast unit to connect to 3000 psi pressure washer, to remove paint from concrete. It worked well, but worked even better on some oil stains on a driveway! Will no doubt help on future jobs as well!"

Pressure washer abrasive blaster,

"Bought this item at the store in West Allis (?) Wi, while traveling. Haven't used it a lot but so far I'm pleased with how it works. Definately puts out sand enough, best to use it with cheap sand as it's going to go through a lot. There is still some blast media that gets bounced back at your face so you need a shield of some sort of protect your eyes.
The box mine came in had been opened and there were no instructions included. It was fairly intuitive to assemble, the only that that I had to learn from sad experience was that you need to have the sand inlet on the top of the nozzle assembly. If it is on the bottom it WILL get water into the sand hose and once the hose gets wet it quits feeding."
