Makita Angle Grinder — 4.5in. Dia,

"As an inventor by trade, I have alot of budgetary considerations. I early-on decided to go with brands I trust and save on features. This was a perfect example. High quality workmanship, never fails, always up to to the job. I use it mostly for metal cuts on angle iron or stainless sheets but light enough to grab quick and tight plumbing jobs, for tubing or just about anywhere I would have used a hack-saw. No complains, no problems for 5 years. Nuff said."

Solid!,

"I got this baby to grind away the cement/mortar under my hearth so I could fit the flooring under. It ate away the stone nicely. As soon as I turned the thing on, I could hear quality and feel power as I applied the disk to the stone. I cannot imagine a better grinder - and the price is quite reasonable."

"This is most assuredly a product worth every penny. I have used this grinder for multiple jobs, from grinding concrete, to sanding exterior siding, and grinding down rusted bolts. Has not failed during long periods of use and different capabilities are vast. I don't need any other grinder, just plug and go...changing from grinding disc's to sanding disc's is a snap."

Very Good Deal!,

"This is just what every home shop should have! Not quite as heavy-duty as a full-blown professional version, but for "normal" use, I would recommend this grinder on a moments' notice! Used within it's correct "duty-cycle", you should have no issues with "toasting" the motor!
The one thing I would change is the wheel-guard, it needs to be deeper for use with the one-piece "spin-on" cast aluminum center wheels. This may be an available option, if so, I didn't notice. But the grinder, overall, can't be beat...!"
