My favorite corded drill,
November 17, 2008
By dsmyth
from Columbus, Ohio
|
"I got one for my small shop. I only use mine when I can't fit my part in my drill press and need more torque than my cordless 19.2V. Mine gets very little use, but it has plenty of power and has very smooth speed control."

DEWALT 1/2" Drill,

"Best drill I've ever owned, and I've owned a few. Powerful enough for any "do it yourselfer" jobs, but small enough for a woman to handle comfortably and get the job done!"

DeWalt VSR Drill,
August 18, 2008
By brayjd
from Brandon, Fl
|
"I've been a Dewalt tool user for over 25 years. All of their products are made to hold up under commercial heavy use. I am especially proud of my relationship with my Dewalt Hammer VSR drill. It truly is like an old friend - around when I need it, ready to help without notice, and holds up under a heavy load! So if I need to drill it, cut it, or modify it, DeWalt is what I reach for every time. Solid performance at a reasonable cost of ownership."

Would like to own one of these!,

By Gerra1

"I had the opportunity to use one of these drills recently, and was impressed with the way it fit my hand, the power, and the ease of use of the drill. I was using a masonry bit to drill into a cement wall, and the drill performed flawlessly. I watched my friend (the owner) use it to drill through railroad ties (creosote-soaked red oak timbers), and again, the drill performed without even getting warm to the touch. I will certainly look at buying one for my next tool purchase."

"Here the drill I should have bought first. I've been through numerous craftsman drills, and finally broke down, spent the money, and got this masterpiece. It's been through the ringer and still performs flawlessly. Don't be chea, spend a little extra and get one to last your lifetime."

drill review,
August 13, 2008
By Joe33
from ND

"This is a good drill. I read a review from a professional that said it could mix a full pale of cement, it can, but it is to high geared for doing so all day it gets hot. I would reccomend a lower geared drill for mixing."

"This is a perfect size for most around the house jobs as well as the slightly overacheiver handyman. Worked great on building my sons playground. Let's just say the playground was for me too!!!"
