Powersmith Cordless Drill,
March 6, 2007
By Prem

"I am a engineer by profession and love good quality power tools. Last year I bought this drill as a gift to my son-in-law, who is NOT a handyman. Imagine my pleasure when he called me at least 3 times in following months to thank for an excellent gift, which made his life easier doing house projects. Every time he used it, he just had to call. I think this drill is an excellent product at very reasonable price."

"excellent drill for all jobs around the house and yard. Needed a cordless drill at a decent price and this was the one. Drill is useful for any job. I have a motorcycle and it comes in handy when I am working on the bke. Do not have to get up and run back and forth to the house or garage."

Powersmith Cordless Drill Kit,
November 20, 2008
By EdEl

"The kit itself was a great value for ythe price paid. The drill worked well when new. The batteries did not hold a charge. I have 2 of the drill sets plus 3 extra batteries. All 5 batteries have failed in storage (6 months)."

"I use this drill a lot around the ranch and house, I am very surprised how long the battery lasts between charges. For the size of this drill, I am very satisfied and would recomend this drill to anyone for use on any medium size jobs."

Powersmith cordless drill,
November 17, 2008
By Dudeman

"I bought this drill last year, the battery didn't last but a few minutes on a charge, what a piece of junk! If you have a good-quality old drill, you're better off buying a new battery for it than replacing it with the PowerSmith."

Pathetic for 18v,

"I purchased this after seeing the stellar reviews. Having used it, I have to say that it is merely a decent reversible screwdriver. If you NEED a cordless drill for any application that will require more than 15 minutes of driving wood screws, GET SOMETHING ELSE!"

Wasted Money,
August 30, 2008
By fdkrebs

"The Powersmith Cordless Drill Kit — 18 Volt, 3/8in. was a complete waste of my money. I like the accessories that come in the kit and the keyless chuck with multiple tension adjustments was nice...but was quickly disappointed with the battery life of the drill. It worked great the first 10 times I used it. I made sure to charge completely after each extensive use, but after about a month...it didn't have enough power to push a screw through a piece of paneling."

It was a big hit!,

"I bought this cordless drill kit for my mother. She does most of her own home repair projects & enjoys doing furniture repair & refinishing. This drill makes those jobs much easier - especially considering she has arthritis in her hands. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is a home handy man or beginner."
