DeWalt 18 volt cordless, January 21, 2008
By Lewtshop from Cleveland, Oh area

"I'm an electrician and have owned sever different brands of cordless drills. The DeWalt cordless is far superior. It is rugged, dependable and user friendly. The tourque is excellent. What I especially like about the DeWalt cordless is the gripping power of the chuck and the ease of tool changing. With most of the other brands I have owned, the tool in the chuck would slip under load and you have to back off, re-tighten the chuck and hope you woul make it through this time. I have never had that problem with the DeWalt cordless chucks. It is an excellent on the job tool."

DeWalt Rocks, November 3, 2009
By JC1948 from Michigan

"I have owned my DeWalt drill for almost two years its the BEST for torque and battery life. I use it for everything from setting a screw to drilling 3/4 in holes thru 8in walnut fence post,I have yet to have this drill fail me. I own three different makes and models of battery drills the DeWalt is the first choice every time. This DeWalt is the only battery operated tool that I have never cussed at or put in the cabinet an forgotten about it."

Dewalt 18v drills, November 2, 2009
By rogerb16 from Western North Carolina

"I have owned two of these drills for several years. They are very reliable and recharge quickly. The benefit of getting heavy duty equipment becomes apparent when you are doing jobs that require torque-such as driving many long screws into pressure treated wood. The only problem I have had is securing the chucks at times and loosening them after words- sometimes requires gloves with a good grip."

DEWALT Compact Cordless Drill Kit 18 Volt 1/2 in., November 2, 2009
By dynamite

"I purchased this kit several years ago. It is just as strong and powerful, as it was when I first purchased it. If a person is looking to upgrade or buy a gift , I strongly recommend this product. The only problem I have had with this drill, it that friends and family members continue to borrow it. I am going to purchase one for my brother in law for Christmas. So I can keep my drill at home. Ha! Ha! Thanks!! Dewalt and Northern....keep up the good work!!!"

Dewalt 18V Drill, November 2, 2009
By DoItAll from Long Island, NY

"This is the best drill I have ever owned. Comes with 2 batteries but holds power for hours. Used one charge to put in 800 2" screws and the drill still had power to go more. Would recommend it to all."
