The ONLY combo I use!,
October 29, 2007

"I work for Universal Studios Orlando and we have several different combo kits that we use on a daily basis but I always grab the Milwaukee kit to get the job done and it has yet to let me down! It does most everything I need in the field from the hammer drill helping me to drive Tap-cons to the circular saw helping me with all the cutting I need on set. It's hands down the best tool kit we have at work and I hope to get one for my use around the house. You won't be let down with it's power, reliabilty, and usefullness."

Milwaukee 4-Tool Combination Kit — 28 Volt,
October 29, 2007

"Two years ago I replaced an18V tool set with the Milwaukee 4-Tool Combination Kit — 28 Volt set. There is no comparison between the two primarily because of the V28 batteries. I replaced all my 18V batteries several times and they always ran down quickly when I was running the tools hard (as I usually do). The V28 batteries just keep on going and give you full power right to the end of their charge. I no longer even carry a corded skill saw on my truck. The V28 successfully made a corded saw unnecessary. I couldn't say that for the 18V saw I had been using. I've been running 4 V28 batteries hard for two years and they are still going strong. They carry a 5 year warranty so I should have a couple of more years before they need replacing. The Milwaukee tools themselves are comparable to other brands. Its the batteries that make these tools soar. I highly recommend the Milwaukee 4-Tool Combination Kit — 28 Volt for anyone that really use their tools hard. Even with the higher initial cost you won't be disappointed."

The ultimate,

"I love the sawzall; plenty of power, use in my art work and also in the yard to prune shrubbery. The saw gave me plenty of power and small enough for me to use in my art works; and plenty of power for my deck, and step repair.
I love the control I have with the drill; I have very little screw wringing; not counting for my errors!
Batteries charge fast; and I love being able to pop the battery from tool to tool. If I have to work; I love doing the work with my Milwaukee tools!"

"Heavy" Tools,
November 2, 2009
By LionFan

"The hammer drill is unstoppable. It's a terrific, powerful, tool. It is the correct weight for drill of this size and power. The circular saw is good but the blade guard could retract easier especially when making any kind of cut other than a straight crosscut. It tends to hang up on angular cuts. Once it starts to retract it works fine but it needs some help to start retracting. The sawsall is as tough as they come especially for cordless. It is a bit heavy but the heft also makes if feel bulletproof. It is not a tool you would want to use overhead very often. I can't get 5 hrs of light out of the flashlight. I'm not saying I'd need 5 hrs but Milwaukee claims 5 hrs of run time and I'd guess it is closer to 2. It is a reasonably good light however. I like the way is stands on its battery. I would like to see a LED conversion for it. Then we would see much more battery life and a brighter white. The charger and batteries with "fuel" gauge are great.
I think there may be a better circular saw from brand "X" that if added to this kit would make this my absolute first choice but then with 4 tools in this combo it is hard to be the best at everything.
It is a very good combination package and I would probably recommend it."

"I buy tools for Dept of Highways crews and switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee over a year ago and haven't had one complaint yet. Dewalt tools from before didnt last nearly as long, and our guys don't always take the best care of their tools. Great combo kit, great price! The 28V is on the heavy side but that's not always bad."

28Volt = great stuff,
November 21, 2008

"I've had the oppurtunity over the past few years to use the Milwaukee 28 volt stuff and some 18volt stuff from Milwaukee and other manufacturers. I'll choose the 28 volters every time and twice on Sunday now. Even had the oppurtunity to see how well they would back a faulty product -- No problems. The OTHER company (Yellow and Black) would not replace their faulty , brand new product , which is what turned me back to Milwaukee. I've always known Milwaukee made the best equipment and I paid the price by trying to choose the cheaper route."

The BEST cordless system EVER!,

"I got my Milwaukee 4-Tool Combination Kit two years ago and it's still running strong. I use it all the time whether the project is in the backyard or out on the back 40. I love the "FUEL GUAGE" feature and the 45 minute quick charging time. These tools are as powerful as their corded counterparts. I would recommend this kit to anyone and everyone who is looking to buy cordless equipment."
