"Great saw. A little heavy. Awesome aluminum shoe. Over the years I've used it to cut heaps of soaking wet pressure treated to tapering the long edge of a door from 1/4in to 0in. In a pinch I've even cut dados in multiple passes. I love it. Best all around circular saw I've owned."

"I have used many similar circular saws of other brands, comparable in size,
strength, and price but none have topped this Dewalt tool. From a novice to the
guy who works it daily, you can depend on this saw to always perform the task
with no glitch.Longevity is a key factor. One will probably have to buy 2 or 3
cheaper circular saws to last as long as the Dewalt, so it is best for the long
haul. There is no down side to this product."

"I've burned up several "other brand" saws but just can't tear tyhis one up!! I've literally built 3 huge decks, 2 large play ground sets, and have used it on countless other projects and materials. This things never gets hot and never gets tired. Power wise, it's a brute!!!"

"I have used my Dewalt 71/4" saw for 8 years now. Very dependable and well worth the money. I have even loaned it to a couple of people that say this saw is 10 times better than the one that they own. The case that comes with it is very durable. Keep a sharp blade in it, store it in the case and this saw should last you for many years."

"I recieved this saw as a wedding present from my wifes uncle. My father-in-law and I do alot of handyman work for friends and family. As well as once a month we go down to our local Habitat for Humanity locations and help with building sheds. Out of the 3-4 guys we bring with us we're alway grabbing for my Dewalt Circ. Saw.
I wouldnt trust any other saw to lend to my friends or family. This saw feels great, Cuts smooth and Accurate, Easy adjustment, Excellent Ballance Onboard blade wrench & Power to spair.
If I had to estimate how many projects iv used this saw on id give it anywhere between 30-40 in the last year, its great depenability has paid its self back time and time again."
