"As an electrician , I've had the oppurtunity to use this metal saw on various metals , emt , rigid conduit , uni-strut , etc. This thing is awesome and is one of the first things I turn to when I need metal or pipe cut. Even something as simple as emt , if Iknow I'll be making a lot of cuts , I'll ditch the hack saw and get this thing out. It is ALOT faster than a sawzall and cuts much squarer (is that a word?) to boot. Heavier stuff like uni-strut is really how this saw sells itself . Cut a piece of 1 5/8" strut with this , and the sawzall will be used only for wood and pvc from then on. We also bought a wood blade to use if we need something framed in also. It works fine in this application also. The metal blade will go through the wood , but it is a slow and smokey affair."
