"I purchased this to use under my patio, when I received it, I was surprised at how small it was but still excited that it would look good once it was in use.
Assembling the tiles is not bad, but they do not line up leaving gaps. I am still waiting for the flame that is shown in the picture, I have the tank fully open and let's just say a person could freeze to death waiting for it. It is a nice for decoration purposes only."

"The fire pit is great during fire bans and much more fun to sit around with friends then the happy camp lantern!
It is also nice when you want a fire but don't want to take the time or energy to start up and put out a good old wood fire especially if the weather is questionable and could change at a moments notice, much easier to turn off propane and put the lid on then to put out the real thing and safer too."

"The Fire Dancer is very light & compact. My husband & I do alot of camping & hunting, year round. We enjoy sitting around an open fire at night. There are several campsites that we use that we our not allowed an open fire, so having the Fire Dancer has made our outtings more enjoyable, as we still can circle around it,.We get the atmosphere , with the Fire Dancer of warmth & a fire pit., that we whave gone with out, because open fires or fire bans were enforced. Also in our dinning tent on rainy days, we get enough warmth from the Fire Dancer to make our lives comfortble."

"My family wanted this for camping where they do not allow firewood-based campfires (nearly all of Cape Cod, MA). Given the Fire Dancer's relatively small size we didn't have big expectations. However, once we received it and set it up on the back porch for testing we were thrilled! The way the vermiculite is used to spread the gas around the entire area and the size of the flame that we can achieve (you can adjust the amount of flame depending upon the level of gas supplied via the 10' hose shutoff valve) the overall effect is a fire that looks and works much larger than it's physical size. I can't wait to get the ceramic logs and then we'll have a very appealing fire for our camping evenings! The screw-down cover is not mentioned in the description of the product but is very important and is a welcomed attachment as this allows for easy transport without worry of a mess.
