"Easy to assemble, very good value. Excellent for limited space and birds that nest in colonies. Gourds fit snugly and lock into place with stars (included). The only tool required was a piece of sandpaper to reduce the diameter at the end of each arm to start the stars and gourds. We also purchased the telescoping pole and big Bo gourds. Highy recommended."

"I received the gourd brackets within days of order, along with the pole. Assembly was easy. I used only two of the brackets,at right angles, and hung four gourds under the martin house. They look great, and such tidy, economic use of the arrangement! I am a new commer to the Purple Martin mania, and I have concluded that gourds are the way to go! Sparrows have invaded the house, but will not touch the gourds. I chose Starling Resistant Entries on all housing (or my woes would be much worse). Northen Tool had the best price on everything, but they also have had the best customer service and delivery that I have experieced this spring ( and that is saying ALOT!)!!

"I wanted to hang "super gourds" under my purple martin house. I discussed my needs with representatives of the manufacturer of the hanging gourd bracket before ordering from Northern. The product I received was of high quality, but was not perfectly suited to use with my telescoping pole. The company that manufacturers the bracket makes its own poles, so I imagine they are designed to fit that pole design. I was able to modify the design of the bracket and make it fit my pole."
