"I really wanteda to buy a big pipe notcher and bender, but for the price, you can't beat this unit. As long as you don't have to make 100 notches at once, it's great. I used a 1/2" electric drill and mounted it to the workbench. Nice job."

"I used the tubing notcher to notch thin wall metal tubing prior to welding. It will cut 2" O.D. tubing though I did encounter vibration and some jamming of the saw teeth. It would work well with a high tooth count per inch hole saw to avoid the vibration and jamming issue, say 18 or more tpi, which I could not find locally or online."

"Works well. Should have come with everything it showed in picture or disclosed that the bracket for the drill press is an option...how else can you use this. Would also be nice if Northern would carry all the optional parts to the notcher listed on the sheet it is shipped with. Poorly marketed."

"fine product ,but hole saw are only 1 3/4 deep & to cut 2" dia. you have to remove the stock that you drill when hole saw bottoms out on mat. need deeper hole saw when exceeding 1 1/2""
