Hook Plate,

"I bought the hook plate to assist in moving a 2600 lb machine and it performed flawlessly. Well designed, good quality and built for the task. I've used it since for lifting similar items, and can't really find anything bad to say about it. Good practice is to keep the load towards the back of the forks, but in some cases you may need to move it forward, in which case the provded straps are addequette to keep it from sliding forward. Picture shows a chain, but came with a strap, I guess I was suprised by that aspect, but it hasn't changed my opinion of this tool. If you need one, this would be a good choice."

"I bought this to use in conjunction with Item# 144280 (drum puller).
Originally, I hooked a chain to the bucket on the front end loader of my tractor, connected the drum puller and removed drums of fuel from the back of my truck. The bucket worked but visibility was very bad.
I bought a set of pallet forks (quick attach type -not clamp on) and now use this hook pallet plate. Visibility is fantastic. The design keeps the load centered, too.
Seems like the most efficient things are always the simplest design. This item should last for years, if not decades."
