Great Wedge, hard to break,

"I finally broke one of these after about five years while hammering it into a hard maple with a splitting maul. I was trying to fell the maple 180 degrees from its natural fall and instead of tapping the wedge into an open cut I was driving it in trying to lift lift a ton or so of tree. Nothing lasts forever, but this wedge probably would unless you really abuse it."

Plastic cutting wedge,

"Bought the 5", 8" and 10" wedges. Found them to be extremely useful in cutting logs from 10" to 30" in diameter on my farm. Was able to cut these logs in place without pinching the chainsaw bar. Being made of plastic, they did not damage my chains when they ocassionaly made contact.
Will conitnue to use these and buy more. An inexpensive an valuable aid."
