Wow!, May 13, 2009
By hfowler from Southern Illinois

"I've been a Stihl man all my life but I have to admit that Husqvarna has done an awesome job. This little saw is powerful and a cutting fool! Easy to start as well as restart. It cuts through the largest to the smallest limbs and logs with ease. Very powerful for such a small saw. Very user friendly gas and oil fill as well as chain adjustments - no screwdrivers or wierd adjustment tools. I plan to buy a few more."

husqvarna chain saw, March 26, 2009
By grizz from Chester, SC

"This saw never quits. I have used this saw and it has never let me down. No more than 2 to 3 pulls to start even after being winterized. These husks are tough."

Husqavarna 235 e 16 inch, March 23, 2009
By Skiwee from Massachusetts

"Mfg. description states this saw is light duty for pruning, trimming and that is about all. The saw runs well, is very quiet and vibrations are damped to nothing. The saw cant be used for heavy cutting unless you have plenty of time, it just bogs down when cutting more than 4 inch limbs if you try to push the blade fast. The 235e probably would have been better set up with a 12 or at most 14 inch blade making it easier to move around and not wasting weight and space with length that you can't use for lack of power.
Not a bad saw, I just wish I had up- sized at least to the 240e or even the heavier duty 445.
If all you need is a small light duty pruning / trimming saw this may be it, but don't expect to drop anything large with it."
