"used item outdoors in garden at night for gardening and parties seems fairly durable survived my neglect: knocking it over a few times myself and by some guests left it outside all winter on the back porch"

"I've had this light for about a year, it's great if you won't be moving it around much but it can get annoying with frequent moves. It yoiu pick it up too high the bottom part of the tripod will fall off. It's kind of a pain. Otherwise, I love the case and the duarability."

For the price you cant go wrong,

"I bought this set because I wanted some portable lighting when I do the odd jobs around the house. I was skeptical at first but I am really pleased with the purchased. Works great in a room while doing dry-wall and since the top unit comes off the stand it really works well. I have some clamp lights but became frustrated with aiming them, especially when you dont have much to clamp them too. And this puts out so much more light. A great choice for the price."

"Nice case to keep the lights in. Tripod works great. The only real problem is when you try and pick it up to move it, it comes apart in the middle. The tension nut for adjusting height locks OK, just don't try and move it without using both hands or it slide down. After several days of use the clears lens's start to fog up. after about a month the lens are white looking and not clear.
I have gotten another setup and have not had any issuse with it yet, but have only used it a couple of times."

"i have had this light set for a while now, i have used it for work and for parties. the convient storage case is great, it is rugged enough to put in the back of the truck and go, it assembels easily and is compact enough to fit under the work bench. the lights are easily adjustable to shine in different spots at one time giving a broader area lit up. i would highly reccommend this product."

500 Watt Portable Light,
January 18, 2008
By PHFjrfrom southwest Florida
"This is exactly what I' ve been looking for, portable halogen lights with a protective case, at a reasonable price. The unit's life expectancy will increase due to reduction in accidental damage while on board vehicle, thanks to the case. Now there's no need to rent anymore, especially when a job has to be completed before daybreak. A "great deal.""
